Village Christian Church is a fellowship of people who follow Jesus Christ. We have no creed but Christ, no book but the Bible and no name but Christian. We are called Christian in the same sense that "the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch."
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of the church, and therefore, every follower of His is a part of His body. We attempt to speak where the Bible speaks and remain silent where the Bible is silent. We take the Bible as our only rule of faith and practice.
We are committed to maintaining unity in the essential beliefs, to allowing freedom in matters of opinion, and to demonstrating love in all things.
We are committed to the Word of God. Jesus Christ is the "Word made flesh," the "Living Word," and we are committed to Him. We are also committed to the Bible as the inspired, accurately revealed, Word of God. We are committed to the fulfillment of the great commission, which involves reaching out to and "making disciples of all the nations."
